Have you ever asked your child what their favorite color was and why? You will be amazed by their answers. How about their favorite memory? At the close of each month, ask them to name their favorite memory from that month. Journal this, and share all of their favorite memories with them at the end of the year. As an adult, we have a few select wonderful memories from childhood. Let a child be a child, and create a book of their favorite memories from each year so they can share them with their children. I once heard a quote, “Days go by slow, but years go by fast” – so true- so real- enjoy the innocence and enjoy the memories you make with your children.
